I made some ice cream with it, and it came out okay. The machine does what it’s supposed to, though the consistency wasn’t exactly perfect. It’s a bit noisy, but it gets the job done. If you’re just looking for a basic ice cream maker, I’d say give it a try.
I’m thrilled with my decision to buy this-it’s been worth every penny.
It showed up on time, but dang, it was way more work than I thought. Ya gotta blend and mix yer ingredients real good before ya put ’em in, and then the machine goes on for 20 – 30 minutes. But my stuff never got that nice ice cream texture and turned to slush in like five minutes. I got the same sorta thing with my blender, so I sent it back. It was too big and had way too many fiddly bits to clean up!
I got this for our summer get-together, and it worked out great. We used an online recipe and did what the instructions in the box said.
It’s efficient and generous, churning out enough servings to satisfy everyone.
