The VAVSEA5409 heats up my office very fast. The oscillating feature works though I don’t use it. It’s not temperature controlled so I just shut it off when not needed. It is noisy enough to be heard several feet away, even with a desk in the way. It’s the perfect size for a single office. Haven’t needed to use the fan feature just yet.

Wasn’t sure what to expect considering it’s not very big. However, this little unit easily heats up a bedroom. Heats it up to the point where I need to shut it off because I am too hot. It does have “white noise”. Some people in these reviews complained about it being too loud. My guess is those people can’t handle any white noise out all. Personally I don’t think it is any louder than a fan or air purifier. Definitely happy with this purchase.

The windows in our office building are very drafty-to make matters worse, my window will not close all the way! With windchill temperatures in the negative 20’s, IT’S COLD!! Long underwear and wool socks are not quite cutting it. I bought this heater, and though I do have prime I chose to pay extra shipping to get this overnight. It came on time and within a few minutes I was well on my way to warming up my office. However, everyone else in the office is of the same mind and we ended up tripping the switch on the breaker box! Oops. Feeling bummed that I may not be able to use my fantastic heater, I decided to give it another try on low and, boy oh boy, it only took about 5 minutes on low and my office was soooo warm! Turns out I only need low to get the job done. I even let the ladies in our accounting office (which is an interior office with no windows or outside walls) use it to take the chill off their office. Theirs is the biggest office in here and still only took about 5 minutes to warm it up. Because it’s so drafty as soon as I turn it off my office gets real cold real quickly. So, once I get my office nice and hot I open my office door and let some of the heat into the hallway. Since I literally just got this yesterday I really can’t account for the longevity of it but am sure it will suit my needs just fine.

I like the “quiet noise” and it heats up fast on the low level, I may not ever need the high option.
The only thing is the little red light stays on after i turn it off. I have to unplug everytime, which on the postitive side may be safer in doing so.
I also like the fact there is no harmful chemicals invloved like some other brands have.
