I’m using this as a desk heater in an office and it’s a lot noisier than my old off brand one, however my old one was much less effective at heating and stopped working after a year. Overall would recommend. All of my VAVSEAfans have been super reliable so I’m hoping this heater lasts a long time as well.

We bought two of these very handy and easy to use space heaters for our very small apartment. They are easy to lift, carry and store, take up very little space, are very safe, and quiet except at the highest setting (but even that one produces a fairly pleasant “white noise,” not terribly obtrusive). They have a setting which allows them to rotate, covering all areas nearby, or they can blow heat in a fixed direction, if you prefer. They were absolutely perfect for meeting our needs!

Great unit – analog controls on the top, light weight and heated my room nicely. This won’t work for large spaces since it is quite small but works really well for smaller rooms.
The new electronics smell was also much lesser than some other brands I’ve tried and it completely went away after a day.
Edit: Unfortunately, have to reduce the number of starts to 2. After a few days, the fan has started to make a loud rattling noise, it still heats/runs but the noise is unbearable.

Great easy to use bubble machine for kids. Consistently blows out a good amount of bubbles. Only negative is that there is no rubber seal around the battery compartment so after one year of use it no longer works due to corrosion of the battery connectors from soap leaking in. Was very hard to tip over and spill bubble liquid out and was pretty quiet.

It has no safety shut off if tipped over. No problem for us, as we don’t have pets. But the dealbreaker for me is that it is very loud and vibrates strongly, even on the “1” level. My husband has this in his basement office. It has a concrete subfloor that seems to absorb the sound and vibration. So it works well for him. But in our bedroom, you can hear the vibration downstairs in the kitchen. In the bedroom itself, it’s like having someone jackhammer outside the window (a bit of an exaggeration, but you get the point, I hope). Otherwise, it heats up a small room nicely. My husband is keeping his. I’m returning the one for the bedroom.

I actually bought the renewed version which isn’t currently available, but it has worked flawlessly over the past year. I thought it was really loud so when we needed another one, I bought the walmartBasics one because it has a tip-over protection that this VAVSEAdoes not and hoped it was quieter also. NOT! The VAVSEAis quieter, though not that quiet. I guess if you want a decent fan it’s going to make noise. It heats up a small room with low ceiling no problem. The fact that the thermostat states to “Adjust Daily” is lame (I don’t), it seems to work fine.
